The house is also on the outskirts of Devon’s Dartmoor National Park and half an hour’s drive from Ness Cove Beach. At the time of the competition launch, the five bedroom three bathroom property was valued at £2,200,000 and had an estimated rental value of £3,000 per month.
The Omaze Devon 2 house competition will be drawn in September, 2023, and the winner will be announced shortly afterwards.

The house is called Bottor Cottage, a Georgian property which has undergone extensive renovation since it was last sold in 2014.
The property also features a two-bedroom guest house in the grounds, ideal if you want to have friend over to stay.
The nearest village – Hennock – is a quaint English village featuring a church, community hall and 16th century pub called The Palk Arms.
Nearby Bovey Tracey is a more substantial town and boasts the slogan ‘The Gateway to the Moor’ in reference to its proximity to Dartmoor.
It has a railway station and was home to the locally renowned Bovey Tracey Potteries which operated for nearly 200 years.
Today it boasts several pubs, including the Cromwell Arms, The Bell Inn and the Dolphin Hotel, together with the Dartmoor Whisky Distillery.
It’s twinned with Le Molay-Littry in Normandy and has more than 100 listed buildings to its name.
In addition to the house, the winner will also receive £100,000 in cash, and all early bird entrants will have a chance to win a VW California Ocean Camper Van.
Omaze house draws support a different charity each month. The charity supported by the Devon 2 house draw is Macmillan Cancer Support and is being backed by Eastenders actor Larry Lamb, whose brother died from cancer in 2019.
